Irish Echo is the largest circulated Irish American weekly newspaper with a 50-state subscription base, was founded in 1928 and is a national tabloid found on newsstands in major American cities every Wednesday.

In their August 4-10 newspaper edition, Irish Echo published an article titled, “Some Summer Reading” where they made some suggestions for books to read this summer.  I am very pleased to announce that “Wise Words & Witty Expressions” was included in their summer reading list.

I am pleased to announce that Irish America magazine, founded in 1985 by Niall O’Dowd and Patricia Harty and the bestselling Irish magazine in the U.S. with over 100,000 subscribers, has provided a terrific review of Wise Words & Witty Expressions in their April/May edition.

This is a big moment in the life of Wise Words & Witty Expressions, as I am thrilled to have been reviewed by such a prestigious magazine, which has allowed me to reach a national audience for the first time.

The April/May edition of Irish America is available in newsstands and in book stores now.

On Sunday, February 28, the Star Ledger published an article titled, “Five new books from New Jersey authors” featuring “Wise Words & Witty Expressions” as one of the five.

The Star Ledger provided a terrific explanation about my background growing up in an Irish-Catholic household, what compelled me to write the book and the significance these expressions have had on my life.

This is a great little book that found its way into my life. I’m sure many of us have heard expressions from our parents or grandparents that when we were young either didn’t make any sense or were over our heads. However, there was so much truth in those expressions now that I am older give me comfort and often make sense of the things that are going on in the world in a way I may not have been able to appropriately express myself. The expressions in this book cover those times when you may not know the “right” words to say, but there is an expression that sums up life perfectly, warts and all in this book. This is something that I plan to share with my inner circle of friends as a holiday gift that they can enjoy for years to come. I truly enjoyed this book. You will too!—- Bronzini’s Mom
