The Month in Review
 
With the ushering in of warmer, sunnier days, I am happy to share that “Wise Words & Witty Expressions” has experienced a great start to the new season. 
 
I was a guest on my first radio program on BlogTalkRadio where I was interviewed by Dr. Tamara Clark of “Let’s Make it Rain.”  Dr. Clark asked me to share my inspiration for writing “Wise Words & Witty Expressions” and discuss how I have gone about marketing my book in an effort to help aspiring writers.  I even had a listener from Australia on the line.  It was a great experience that I hope to repeat again on other radio shows.  If you did not have the opportunity to hear the program, please click here for the full broadcast.
 
I was also asked to do an author lecture at the Barron Arts Center in Woodbridge, NJ.  I was originally going to be discussing my book in June but the Barron Arts Center reached out to me and asked if I would expand my program to include a discussion about how to become published and what to do after you have your completed book in hand.  Therefore, my event has been rescheduled for October 20.

Upcoming Events
 
In June, I am pleased to announce that I will be attending two book signings.  On June 6, I will be at Sages Pages in Madison, NJ and on June 12, I will be at Mendham Books in Mendham, NJ.  If you are in the area, please stop by and say hello.
 
I am learning that in the book biz July and August are very quite months.  However, beginning in September and October, I have some very exciting events scheduled.  Click here to see those events.  For those of you that are Irish or just love being around Irish folks and love the Jersey shore, be sure to visit me on September 18 at the Irish Festival in Sea Girt, NJ in the “Heritage Tent.”  This is an over-the-top event that promises to be a good time.  Click here to learn more.
