Happy Spring!
The Month in Review
As we enter the time of year when our flowers come back in bloom and the sun shines a little longer during the day, I am pleased to share that “Wise Words & Witty Expressions” has achieved a new milestone. Irish America magazine, the best selling Irish magazine in the U.S., with over 100,000 subscribers, has provided an outstanding review of “Wise Words & Witty Expressions” in their April/May edition. The review in part says,
“With sections devoted to motherhood, love, life’s challenges, and sarcasm, readers will carry wisdom and wit through all of life’s situations.”
This review is especially exciting because this is the first national recognition the book has garnered. Click here to learn more about Irish America magazine and to read the review in its entirety.
March was also an exciting month with the many events I was able to participate in. On March 6, I joined 21 other local New Jersey authors for the Princeton, NJ Library’s Local Author Day where each author was provided with an opportunity to share with the audience a discussion about their book. Click here to learn more about the day’s event.
On March 10, I returned to one of my Alma maters, Middlesex County College, for an Irish themed book signing. It was great to return to the school I attended so long ago and see how much it has grown. Click here to see pictures of the event.
On March 18, I was the guest speaker at the Rutgers-Newark Women’s Entrepreneur Network (WEN) Breakfast Series. This was a great event as I was able to share with other entrepreneurs my journey to becoming a self-published author and learn from those attending about their journeys. Don’t Forget to Share with Me Your Favorite “Wise Words & Witty Expressions”
“Wise Words & Witty Expressions” represents the expressions I heard growing up. I would love to hear from you and learn the “Wise Words & Witty Expressions” you remember to help you navigate your way through life’s ups and downs.
Maybe your expressions represent the geographic region of the United States you live in or maybe they are reflective of your ancestry or maybe they are just wise words.
I would love to collect enough expressions from my readers to write a second edition of “Wise Words & Witty Expressions.” Perhaps you will even see your expression in my next book!
