The Month in Review

Happy New Year everyone!

As we welcome in 2010 and look forward to all the blessings the New Year will bring, I’d like to take moment and reflect on the how well “Wise Words & Witty Expressions” ended the year 2009.

The book continued to receive some great press with articles in four Greater Media publications. Greater Media is the parent company of 23 AM and FM radio stations in Boston, Charlotte, Detroit, Philadelphia and New Jersey; and a group of weekly newspapers in central New Jersey; and several telecommunications towers throughout the United States.   To read the article published by Greater Media please click here.

“Wise Words and Witty Expressions” was also mentioned in three MyCentralJersey.com articles.  One article titled, “Homemade for the Holidays,” which references the success of the East Brunswick Friends of the Library Holiday Bazaar, where I was signing books said,

“Also on hand was Fords resident Renee Gatz, who signed copies of the self-published book “Wise Words & Witty Expressions,” which was released in September.  Gatz, who grew up in Sayreville, said the book is a collection of the expressions she heard repeatedly throughout her youth from her parents.”

Additionally a complete article discussing the book titled, “Family expressions, adages turned into a book by Woodbridge resident” was run on Christmas Day in the Home News Tribune and also in the Community Tribune on Christmas Eve, both powered by MyCentralJersey.com.  Click here to read the article in its entirety.

I have also heard great reviews from those of you that gave “Wise Words & Witty Expressions” as a holiday gift.  I am so happy that I was able to be a small part of your holidays and those that you gave “Wise Words & Witty Expressions” to were very happy with their present.

I am looking forward to developing my 2010 calendar of events for “Wise Words & Witty Expressions” and will certainly keep you posted as events are finalized.
