When I was writing “Wise Words & Witty Expressions” and was ready to speak with a publisher about getting my manuscript published, I reached out to my fellow Association for Women in Communications (AWC) members for help in determining just how to go about that.

Through the AWC network, I found my publisher Woodpecker Press, a fellow AWC member in my own North Jersey Chapter. I wanted to share the power of the national AWC network with my fellow members, thank them for their generosity and remind them to reach out to their fellow members for assistance because the women who belong to this organization are smart, accomplished and compassionate people committed to helping others meet with success just like they helped me.
