My book shares with readers the various expressions my parents said to me all too often as I was growing up to help me navigate life’s ups and downs. The expressions are profound, funny, and even sarcastic. Without realizing it, these expressions stayed with me and came back to me at the appropriate moments in my life to help me laugh, understand, or survive.
